Let’s Get Married
Venue
Our wedding will be held at The Calile Hotel on James Street, Fortitude Valley. For those driving, paid parking is available in the underground car park beneath the building.
If you prefer, you can also take an Uber or taxi directly to The Calile for easy drop-off at the entrance on James Street.
Once you arrive, please make your way up to the rooftop where we’ll be gathering to celebrate together.
Ceremony & Reception
Our ceremony will be held on the rooftop. Please arrive from 3:00pm, with the ceremony beginning at 3:30pm.
Following the ceremony, we’ll enjoy cocktail hour together on the rooftop while taking in the afternoon and celebrating with drinks and canapés. As we’ll be outdoors, we recommend bringing sunglasses for the afternoon sun and a light jacket for when the evening cools.
After cocktail hour, we’ll move downstairs to the reception space beside the pool where dinner, speeches and dancing will continue the celebration.
The reception will conclude at 11:00pm.
Little ones
As much as we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only celebration. We hope this gives everyone a chance to relax, let their hair down and enjoy a fun night with us. Please note that our venue is strictly 18+, so unfortunately we’re unable to accommodate children on the day.
Gifts
Your presence at our wedding is truly the greatest gift we could ask for and we’re just so excited to celebrate with you.
If you do wish to give something, we will have a wishing well on the day. Any contributions will go towards our honeymoon, helping us create some very special memories as newlyweds.
Unplugged
We’ll also be having an unplugged ceremony, so we kindly ask that phones and cameras are tucked away while we say our vows. Our photographer will capture all the special moments so you can simply be present and celebrate with us.
Dress code
Our dress code is formal and fun.
Think dark suits for the boys (navy, black or charcoal with a tie/bow tie) and long dresses or gowns for the girls. We kindly ask guests to avoid cocktail or shorter dresses for the evening.
We’ll be celebrating from afternoon into the night, so think elegant, colourful and ready to dance.
